Modification of Tariff Heading 87.12

  • Tariff Heading 87.12 concerning parts and accessories of bicycles (headings 87.09, 87.10, and 87.11) is revised and supersedes previous provisions under Executive Order 225.
  • Bicycle carriers are subject to a 40% ad valorem import duty.
  • Bicycle frames are subject to a 75% ad valorem import duty.
  • Bicycle mudguards are subject to a 35% ad valorem import duty.
  • All other parts and accessories are subject to a 10% ad valorem import duty.

Implementation Period

  • The revised import duty rates shall take effect 30 days after issuance of the Executive Order.
  • These rates apply to articles entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption in the Philippines after this period.
