Appropriations and Funding
- The initial funding for establishing the hospital will be charged against the appropriations under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent operational and maintenance costs will be included in future annual General Appropriations Acts.
Pre-construction Assurance Requirements
- Prior to the commencement of construction, the Secretary of Health must issue a written assurance that:
- Personnel for the hospital will be appointed.
- Funds necessary for the hospital's maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval by the President of the Philippines.
