Designation of Nationwide Special Days

  • All Saints Day: November 1.
  • Last Day of the Year: December 31.

Terminology Update

  • The term "legal or regular holiday" is replaced by "regular holiday" in all laws, orders, rules, and regulations.
  • The term "special holiday" is replaced by "special day" correspondingly.

Repeal and Modification of Inconsistent Provisions

  • All existing laws, orders, issuances, rules, and regulations contradictory to this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity Clause

  • The Executive Order took effect immediately upon signing on June 30, 1987.
