Increase in Bed Capacity
- The hospital's bed capacity is increased from 75 to 200 beds.
- Future bed capacity increases must align with a hospital development plan.
- The hospital development plan is to be prepared by the Chief of Hospital.
Enhancement of Health Care Services and Facilities
- Existing professional healthcare services and facilities must be upgraded.
- Upgrades should correspond proportionately to the increased bed capacity.
Increase in Hospital Workforce
- Workforce including doctors, nurses, and support personnel shall be increased.
- Workforce growth should correspond to the expansion in bed capacity and services.
Funding Responsibility of Provincial Government
- The Provincial Government of Batangas shall provide necessary funds for:
- The increased bed capacity.
- Upgrading of hospital facilities and services.
Department of Health Support
- The Department of Health Secretary shall include the hospital’s capital outlay requirements in the DOH subsidy program.
Severability Clause
- If any part of the Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, and other issuances inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
