Coverage and Territorial Jurisdiction
- The La Union Second Engineering District shall cover the following municipalities: Agoo, Aringay, Bagulin, Bauang, Burgos, Caba, Naguilian, Pugo, Rosario, Sto. Tomas, and Tubao.
Authority to Issue Implementing Rules and Regulations
- The Department of Public Works and Highways is mandated to issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of the act.
- This provision ensures administrative guidance and practical procedures for the district's operation.
Appropriation of Funds
- Funding necessary to implement the provisions of the act shall be sourced from the General Appropriations Act of the year following the enactment and subsequent years.
- This ensures the financial support for the establishment and maintenance of the new engineering district.
Effectivity of the Law
- The law takes effect immediately upon approval by the President of the Philippines.

- The act was passed by the House of Representatives on May 23, 2000, and by the Senate on December 11, 2000.
- It was approved by the President on March 12, 2001.
