Authority to Issue Implementing Rules and Regulations
- The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is empowered to promulgate necessary rules and regulations to implement the provisions of the Act.
- This includes administrative guidelines to facilitate the school's transition to national status.
Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel (including faculty and staff) currently employed by Kimanait High School shall be absorbed by Kimanait National High School.
- All assets owned by the original school are transferred to the newly established national high school.
- Any liabilities or existing obligations of Kimanait High School are also transferred.
- Records and documents related to the school shall be preserved and transferred accordingly.
Appropriations and Funding
- The financial requirements to implement this conversion shall be included in the General Appropriations Act (GAA) following the year of enactment.
- Funding and budget provisions to support the operation and development of the Kimanait National High School shall be sustained in subsequent years.
Effectivity
- The Act took effect immediately upon its approval.
- The law lapsed into effect on February 16, 1997, without the President's signature, pursuant to Article VI, Section 27(1) of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, which allows a bill to become law if the President does not act on it within 30 days.
