  • The municipality of Kabasalan continues but excludes the territory included in the newly formed municipality of Ipil.

Commencement of Existence

  • The municipality of Ipil shall officially begin to exist upon:
    • The appointment and qualification of its mayor.
    • The appointment and qualification of its vice-mayor.
    • The appointment and qualification of a majority of its councilors.

Formal Execution

  • The Executive Order organizing the municipality was signed by President Elpidio Quirino on July 26, 1949.
  • The order was executed in Manila, affirming the creation of Ipil in the fourth year of Philippine Independence.
  • The Executive Secretary, Teodoro Evangelista, endorsed the order on behalf of the President.
