- August 18 of every year is declared as “Jesse Robredo Day.”
- Jesse Robredo Day is established as a special working holiday.
- The Day is to be celebrated in all elementary and secondary schools in the country.
- If August 18 falls on a weekend, the holiday shall be observed on the Friday of that week.
School celebration and implementation duties
- The Department of Education is designated as the implementing agency.
- The Department of Education must plan and implement activities for Jesse Robredo Day.
- The Department of Education must ensure that Jesse Robredo’s legacy of good governance and leadership is emphasized.
- School activities are intended to encourage students to continue good governance and leadership “for the good of the Philippines and the Filipino people.”
Separability and constitutionality
- If any provision of Republic Act No. 10669 is declared unconstitutional, that ruling does not affect the validity and effectivity of the other provisions of the Act.
Repealing and modification of inconsistent issuances
- All laws, decrees, orders, and issuances, or parts of them, that are inconsistent with Republic Act No. 10669 are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
