Design and Symbolism of the Golden Heart Medal
- Obverse features two outstretched hands offering a golden heart.
- Includes the Latin motto: "MANUM TUAM APERVIT INOPE," meaning "She hath opened her heart to the needy and stretched forth her hands to the poor."
- Surrounded by the legend: "THE GOLDEN HEART PRESIDENTIAL AWARD."
- Reverse displays the Presidential Seal with space for engraving the recipient's name.

- Individual awardees receive a bronze-gilded medal and ribbon, designed as a valued heirloom.
- Organizations/entities receive a narra wood plaque displaying the medal's obverse and reverse.
