Amendment of Article 310 on Qualified Theft
- Qualified theft involves theft committed under specific circumstances such as:
- Committed by a domestic servant.
- Committed with grave abuse of confidence.
- Involving stolen property consisting of coconuts or fish taken from a fishpond or fishery.
- Penalty: The penalty imposed shall be next higher in degree than that specified in the preceding article on theft.
- Special provision: If the stolen property is mail matter or large cattle, the maximum period of the prescribed penalty shall be imposed.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval on May 22, 1939.
