Upgrade of Healthcare Services and Facilities

  • Existing professional healthcare services and facilities shall be upgraded to match the expanded authorized bed capacity.

Corresponding Increase in Hospital Workforce

  • The workforce at MMMH, including doctors, nurses, and support personnel, will be increased proportionally to correspond with the increased bed capacity.

Funding Provided by Provincial Government

  • The Provincial Government of Batangas is mandated to allocate and provide necessary funds to support the increase in bed capacity and the upgrading of hospital facilities and services.

Department of Health's Support

  • The Secretary of the Department of Health is tasked with incorporating support for the hospital’s capital outlay requirements into the Department’s subsidy program.

Severability Clause

  • Any provision or part of the Act declared unconstitutional shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Modification of Inconsistent Laws and Orders

  • All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are modified accordingly to conform with its provisions.

Effectivity

  • The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
