Upgrade of Healthcare Services and Facilities
- Healthcare services and hospital facilities shall be upgraded to correspond with the increased bed capacity.
- Upgrades must ensure facilities are commensurate with the bed capacity expansion.
Expansion of Hospital Workforce
- The hospital’s workforce, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, will be correspondingly increased.
- Workforce expansion aims to maintain adequate healthcare delivery with the increased bed capacity.
Funding Responsibilities
- The Provincial Government of Pangasinan shall allocate necessary funds to support the bed capacity increase.
- Funding also covers the upgrading of services and facilities linked to the expansion.
Department of Health Support
- The Department of Health Secretary shall incorporate support for the hospital’s capital outlay requirements into the DOH subsidy program.
- This ensures ongoing government assistance for infrastructure and facility improvements.
Separability Clause
- If any provision of the act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
Modification of Inconsistent Laws
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this act are modified accordingly to conform with it.
Effectivity Clause
- The act takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
