  • The plan is submitted to the Department of Health (DOH).

Appropriation and Funding

  • The Secretary of Health must include the implementation of the Act in the Department of Health’s programs.
  • Funding for implementation to be provided through the annual General Appropriations Act.

Separability Clause

  • If any provision or part of the Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions remain effective and enforceable.

Repealing Clause

  • Republic Act No. 8053 is amended to reflect the changes introduced by this Act.
  • All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with the new provisions are repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity of the Act

  • The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
