Minimum Annual Compensation Established
- Physicians must receive a minimum annual compensation of Six Thousand Pesos (₱6,000)
- Dentists must receive a minimum annual compensation of Five Thousand Four Hundred Pesos (₱5,400)
- Nurses must receive a minimum annual compensation of Four Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (₱4,200)
- Pharmacists must receive a minimum annual compensation of Three Thousand Six Hundred Pesos (₱3,600)
Superseding Effect on Contrary Laws
- The law takes precedence over any existing provision of law that may provide otherwise regarding the remuneration of the specified professionals
Amendments to Previous Laws
- Republic Acts No. 649 and No. 664 are amended as necessary to align with the compensation increases mandated by this Act
Appropriations and Funding
- Funding for the minimum compensation increase for fiscal year 1967 is appropriated from the National Treasury funds not otherwise allocated
- Subsequent funding shall be provided for in the annual General Appropriations Act
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval on June 17, 1966
