Printing and Cost Considerations for Bidding Documents
- Each set of bidding documents consists of an estimated 70 to 100 pages per participating bidder.

Purpose and Use of Collected Fees
- Fees collected from bidders shall cover incidental expenses incurred by the BAC.
- Such expenses include costs related to meetings, pre-procurement conferences, pre-bidding activities, and bid openings.
New Fee Structure Based on Approved Budget for Contract (ABC)
- Bidding fee rates are scaled according to the ABC as follows:
- More than PHP 500,000 to PHP 599,000: PHP 400.00
- PHP 600,000 to PHP 799,000: PHP 500.00
- PHP 800,000 to PHP 999,000: PHP 600.00
- PHP 1,000,000 to PHP 1,999,000: PHP 700.00
- PHP 2,000,000 to PHP 2,999,000: PHP 800.00
- PHP 3,000,000 to PHP 3,999,000: PHP 900.00
- PHP 4,000,000 to PHP 4,999,000: PHP 1,000.00
Authority to Implement New Rates
- The BAS-BAC resolves to recommend the approval of increased fees to the Director.
- Upon Director's approval, the BAS-BAC is authorized to immediately collect the new rates from bidders.
Adoption and Approval
- The resolution recommending fee increases was adopted by the BAS-BAC on March 8, 2010.
- The resolution was approved by the Director, authorizing implementation of the new rates.
