Hospital expansion and upgrade
- Section 1 expands and upgrades the Severo Verallo Memorial District Hospital (Bogo General Hospital) in the Municipality of Bogo, Province of Cebu.
- The hospital is upgraded from a fifty-bed capacity district hospital to a seventy-five-bed capacity provincial hospital (Section 1).
- The upgraded hospital shall be known as the Cebu Provincial Hospital (Section 1).
Appropriations and funding timeline
- The amount necessary to carry out Republic Act No. 7232 shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter (Section 2).
- The law ties funding to future inclusion in the General Appropriations Act, rather than a specific one-time appropriation amount within the Act (Section 2).
