- Territorial jurisdiction covers the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Sipalay.
- Bounded on the North by Cauayan, East by Candoni, South by Hinoba-an, West by Sulu Sea.
- Specific geographic coordinates define the boundaries, covering approximately 37,978 hectares.
Inclusion of Parcels of Land by Accretion
- Three specific parcels of lands acquired by reason of accretion are included as part of the City’s territorial jurisdiction.
- Parcel MR-06-000002: Situated in Poblacion, 255,689 sqm, with specific boundary descriptions and survey details.
- Parcel MR-06-000004: Situated in Poblacion, 118,666 sqm, with detailed boundary and survey information.
- Parcel MR-06-000008: Situated in Poblacion, 92,627 sqm, with easement and environmental protection zones noted.
Restrictions and Reserved Zones
- Salvage zones of 20 meters width and bank protection zones of 40 meters width are reserved on certain parcels.
- Environmental protection zones of 20 meters width are also reserved along specific boundaries.
- Easements are reserved on some land parcels to ensure access and protection.
Resolution of Boundary Disputes
- Inclusion of the parcels of land is without prejudice to ongoing or future resolutions by proper agencies or forums regarding boundary disputes or territorial jurisdiction issues.
Ownership and Disposal of Accreted Lands
- Parcels of lands acquired by accretion and appurtenances shall belong to the City of Sipalay.
- The City government may sell or lease these lands under its prescribed rules and regulations.
Land Registration Authority Mandate
- The Land Registration Authority is tasked to issue separate titles for the accreted parcels within one year of the Act's approval.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval, formalizing the conversion and territorial modifications.
