Authorized Exporters and Plants
- Only specified accredited facilities in the PROC are permitted exporters:
- Shouguang Foreign Trade Food Processing Cold Storage Plant, Shandong Province (Sinotrans Shandong Shouguang Branch).
- Shenyang Radiance Meat Birds Factory, Shenyang (Shenyang Cereals, Oils, Foodstuffs, Imports, and Export Corporation).
- These plants are accredited by the Bureau of Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture and the China Commodities Inspection Bureau.
Product Specifications
- Importation restricted to fully dressed frozen Peking/Beijing ducks.
- Ducks must be without internal organs.
Importation Requirements and Documentation
- All consignments must be accompanied by the following:
- Veterinary Quarantine Clearance/Permit authorized by the Philippine Secretary of the Department of Agriculture or a duly authorized representative.
- Compliance with rules and regulations of the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) and the National Meat Inspection Commission (NMIC).
- Health Certificate issued by the PROC Quarantine Inspection Service.
- Additional certificates as necessary pertaining to drug, pesticide, hormonal residues, and heavy metal contaminants.
Regulatory Enforcement and Compliance
- Orders, rules, or regulations conflicting with this Order are repealed or modified accordingly.
- The Order is effective immediately upon issuance.
Administrative Authority
- Issued by Roberto S. Sebastian, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture.
- Recommended and approved by the Director of BAI and the Executive Director of NMIC.
