Unified Multi-Purpose ID System via SSS

Section 1 establishes the Social Security card as the core of a unified multi-purpose identification (ID) system.
Executive Order No. 700 directs streamlining and harmonization of identification systems across government agencies and government-owned or controlled corporations.
Section 2 mandates the Social Security System (SSS) to implement the unified multi-purpose ID system by taking over prior assignment work.

Section 1 provides that the Social Security card shall serve as the core of the unified multi-purpose ID system.

Section 2 mandates the Administrator, Social Security System (SSS) to take over the work previously assigned to the Director-General, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
Section 2 requires the SSS to implement streamlining and harmonization of ID systems of all government agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations.
Section 3 requires the Administrator, SSS to build on the work already done by the Director-General, NEDA.

Section 4 directs the NEDA and the National Statistics Office to assist the SSS in developing the unified multi-purpose ID system.
Section 4 further requires all other agencies identified by the SSS to assist the SSS in developing the unified multi-purpose ID system.

Section 5 requires the SSS to use its funds to carry out the objectives of Executive Order No. 700.

Section 6 revokes, amends, or modifies all Executive Orders or issuances, or portions thereof, that are inconsistent with Executive Order No. 700.
Section 6 makes the modification/revocation automatic for inconsistent provisions, directing conformity with Executive Order No. 700.
