Objective

Documentary Requirements

For First-Time Applicants:

Procedural Steps

  1. Secure and fill out application and STCW forms from the Marine Deck Officers Division (MDOD) Information Counter.
  2. Submit forms and documentary requirements to the Application Processing Counter for evaluation.
  3. Verification of document authenticity; questionable documents are subjected to further legal review.
  4. Log applicant details (name, rank, and application status) for record.
  5. Upon authorization, proceed for payment of fees and processing of payment receipts, Notice of Admission, and schedule issuance.
  6. Verification of completeness of submitted documents and issuance of examination permits.
  7. Pre-examination notification of examination site details.
  8. STCW Records Verifier confirms training certificate authenticity through MTC reports.
  9. Applications found compliant are forwarded for assessment and approval by Qualified Assessor/Board member.
  10. Approved applications are passed to Application Section Head for reporting.
  11. Status reports are submitted to the Chief of the Examination Division.
  12. Successful candidates must pay fees for registration, PRC ID, and STCW certificates.

Registration and Identification
