Accreditation of Principals
- Both government and private medical institutions and licensed UK placement organizations must undergo accreditation.
- Required documents for hospitals/nursing homes:
- Special Power of Attorney authenticated and legalized.
- Manpower request detailing nurse position, salary, volume, and specialization, authenticated and legalized.
- Master employment contract including provisions on salary, position during adaptation, airfare payment, repatriation, termination causes, UK law applicability, duly legalized.
- Proof of approval for supervised training.
- Business license/registration.
- Employment service/placement organizations must submit similar authenticated documents including job orders from client institutions.
Transfer of Accreditation
- Requirements include revocation of previous Special Power of Attorney, notice to former agent, transfer application by new agent, and affidavit of responsibility.
Dual Accreditation
- General policy: one principal accredited to one agency only.
- Exceptions:
- Urgent deployment of 200+ nurses with verified manpower request.
- Recruitment of highly specialized nurse categories.
Renewal of Accreditation and Additional Job Orders
- Subject to the same guidelines and requirements as initial accreditation.
Pre-employment Briefing
- Must include specific market information along with mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar.
Advertisements
- Allowed only after submission of authenticated and legalized manpower request.
Requirements for Contract Processing
- Must include request for processing, individual contract based on approved Master Contract, and work permit/entry visa.
Name Hiring
- Permitted if:
- Employment contract with essential provisions and employer's business documents are authenticated and legalized.
- Employer has approval to conduct supervised training.
- Limited initial name hiring may be allowed by the Administration.
On-site Monitoring
- Principals/placement organizations must notify Philippine embassy of nurses' arrival.
- Embassy must be given access to visit nurses at start and regularly thereafter during adaptation period.
Effectivity
- The guidelines take effect fifteen (15) days after publication.
