Specifications for Service Vehicles of Local Government Officials

  • Provincial Governors and City Mayors: 4-wheel vehicles with at least four doors.
    • Engine size: max 2000 cc gasoline or 2800 cc diesel.
    • Allowable options: airconditioning, AM/FM stereo cassette/CD player, magwheels.
  • Vice Governors, Municipal Mayors, City and Municipal Vice Mayors: 4-wheel vehicles with at least four doors.
    • Engine size: max 1500 cc gasoline or 2200 cc diesel.
    • Allowable options: airconditioning, AM/FM stereo cassette player, magwheels.

Specifications for Service/Utility Vehicles

  • General Urban Use:
    • Four-wheel utility type, high side pick-up with roof.
    • Locally manufactured chassis and body.
    • Engine max 1800 cc gasoline or 2500 cc diesel.
    • Allowable options: AM/FM cassette player and airconditioning.
  • Semi-Rugged Rural Areas:
    • Four-wheel assembled vehicles with locally fabricated jeep or passenger jeepney chassis.
    • Reconditioned/surplus engines max 1800-2000 cc gasoline or 2500-3500 cc diesel.
    • Capacity not exceeding 21 persons.
  • Remote Rugged and Mountainous Terrain:
    • Four-wheel pick-up with imported chassis.
    • Engine max 2200 cc gasoline or 3000 cc diesel.
    • Allowable options: airconditioning, AM/FM stereo cassette player, four-wheel drive, magwheels.
  • Remote Areas not accessible by ordinary vehicles:
    • Two-wheel vehicles with 2 or 4-stroke engines max 125 cc.
    • Allowable options: windscreen, saddlebag, sidecar.

Vehicles for Transport of Sick and Injured Persons

  • Four-wheel utility vehicles with locally manufactured chassis, max 1800 cc gasoline or 2500 cc diesel.
  • Four-wheel vans or wagons with locally or imported chassis, max 2000 cc gasoline or 2700 cc diesel.
  • Allowable options include rotating/flashing lights, siren, two-way radio, airconditioning, AM/FM stereo cassette player.
  • Vehicles can be converted to ambulances equipped with necessary medical apparatus.
  • Original ambulances have manufacturer-specific features.

Specifications for Water Transport

  • Locally fabricated boats or bancas with wooden hulls.
  • Passenger capacity not exceeding 15 persons.
  • Right-hand and left-hand rigs, with or without roof.
  • Inboard engines max 30 horsepower.

Vehicles for City and Municipal Patrol Operations

  • Patrol Cars: four-wheel vehicles with at least four doors.
    • Engine max 1600 cc gasoline or 2400 cc diesel.
    • Allowable options: rotating/flashing lights, siren, two-way radio, airconditioning.

  • Patrol Cars: four-wheel vehicles with at least four doors.
    • Engine max 1800 cc gasoline or 2600 cc diesel.
    • Same allowable options as city/municipal patrol cars.
  • Patrol Motorcycles: two-wheel vehicles with 2 or 4-stroke engines max 450 cc.
    • Same allowable options as patrol motorcycles.

Equipment for Waste Management, Construction, and Maintenance

  • Includes dump trucks, graders, payloaders, road rollers, cement mixers, and related heavy equipment.
  • Specifications vary based on manufacturer, size, capacity, and intended use.
