Appropriation of Funds for Implementation

  • Necessary funds for immediate implementation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Retroactive Application of Benefits

  • Survivorship benefits also extend to the surviving spouse and dependent children of NPS members who died within one year before this Act's effectivity.

Severability Clause

  • If any provision of the Act is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be effective.

Amendatory Provisions

  • All laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, proclamations, memorandum orders, instructions, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are amended or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
