  • Exemption from registration and immigration fees after complying with Alien Registration Law.
  • Multiple-entry visa valid for two years granted.
  • Reentry permit valid for two years available from the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation.
  • Immunity from deportation unless convicted of crimes against the State and permanent resident status is cancelled.
  • Rights to retain ownership of shares and properties acquired as Filipino citizens prior to U.S. citizenship.

Implementation Mechanism

  • Commissioner of Immigration required to issue implementing rules and regulations within 30 days from effectivity.
  • Establishment of registration centers by Bureau of Immigration and Deportation to facilitate implementation.

  • Repealed or modified laws, decrees, or orders inconsistent with this Act.
