Visa-Free Entry Provision for Chinese Nationals with Macau-Portuguese Passports
- Chinese nationals holding Macau-Portuguese passports are granted no-visa entry into the Philippines.
- The initial period of stay allowed is seven (7) days.
- Requirements for entry include:
- Possession of round trip tickets or onward tickets to a next country with valid entry visas.
- Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the authorized stay.
- For collective passports, spouse and minor children’s pictures and names must be shown within the passport.
Extension of Stay
- The initial 7-day stay may be extended by the Bureau of Immigration before expiry.
- Extensions are granted subject to:
- Proper justification by the applicant.
- Payment of prescribed fees.
- Existing immigration regulations and limitations.
Modification or Revocation of Previous Rules
- Letter of Instructions No. 911 (dated August 10, 1979) and any other inconsistent presidential issuances, rules, or regulations are revoked or amended accordingly.
Effectivity
- The Executive Order takes effect immediately upon issuance on July 22, 1994.
