Franking Privilege for Former Presidents

Former Presidents are entitled to receive, transmit, and deliver all mail matters within the Philippines free of postage.

This privilege ceases immediately if the former President announces candidacy for any national office.
Violation of the franking privilege incurs a fine not exceeding five hundred pesos.
