  • The Bureau of Immigration has the authority to extend the initial no-visa stay before its expiry.
  • Extensions are subject to existing regulations and require proper justification and payment of prescribed fees.

Repeal and Amendment of Conflicting Rules

  • All provisions in Letter of Instructions No. 911 (dated August 10, 1979) and other presidential issuances or rules inconsistent with this order are revoked or amended accordingly.

Effectivity

  • The executive order takes effect immediately upon issuance on July 22, 1994.
