- Positions are grouped into 13 categories, ranging from Chief of Division to Elementary Classroom Teacher.
- Each position classification is tied to a specific grade and salary range:
- Chief of Division, Superintendents: ₱4,200.00 to ₱6,000.00
- Assistant Chiefs and Assistant Superintendents: ₱3,480.00 to ₱5,400.00
- General Office supervisors: ₱3,120.00 to ₱4,800.00
- School Principals and Registrars at higher education levels: up to ₱4,200.00
- Supervisors and section chiefs: ranges between ₱2,400.00 and ₱4,200.00
- Instructors at normal schools and curriculum writers: ₱2,400.00 to ₱3,120.00
- Supervisors and teacher physicians: ₱2,160.00 to ₱3,120.00
- Secondary and Elementary Teachers and principals: from ₱1,200.00 to ₱3,120.00
Provisions on Higher Educational Qualifications and Salary Adjustments
- Teachers with educational qualifications exceeding the minimum standards are entitled to a higher entrance salary if civil service eligibility supports it.
- Elementary principals or district supervisors who further their education to B.S.E. degrees while in service receive compensation equivalent to secondary-level principals or supervisors with civil service eligibility.
- Classroom teachers who graduate from Normal schools and obtain B.S.E. degrees during service are compensated equivalently to secondary teachers holding same degrees, contingent on civil service eligibility.
