Expansion of Legazpi Port Zone

Executive Order No. 754 expands the delineated Legazpi Port Zone provided under Executive Order No. 347, series of 1996.
Executive Order No. 754 further revises the delineation introduced by Executive Order No. 166, series of 1999, as referenced in the preambulatory clauses.
Executive Order No. 754 also references Executive Order No. 166 as amended by Executive Order No. 166, series of 1999, consistent with the order’s stated purpose to revise the delineation.

The order recognizes the Port of Legazpi as one of the major ports in the country.
The order directs expansion of the territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Legazpi to meet increasing demands from investments, trade and commerce, shipping and sea transportation, tourism development, and income-generating and revenue-raising enterprises.

Section 1 amends Section 1 of Executive Order No. 166, s. 1999 by replacing its territorial jurisdiction delineation.
The delineation begins at a point defined by: “a plan at a distance of 405.42m with, bearing S 46A13' from BLLM No. 1 Cad, 47, Albay Cadastre” and proceeds through points 1 through 13, returning to point 1.
The perimeter is defined by successive straight-line segments using specified distances and bearings, including directions such as “DUE EAST” and “DUE SOUTH.”
The amended area is stated to comprise a total area of 1,598,074.8989 sq. m. more or less.

The boundary description runs from point 1 to point 2 with distance of 168.32m and bearing N. 82A 12' E.
The description continues from point 2 to point 3 with distance of 372.05m and bearing W 22A 23' W, then to point 4 with 425.04m and bearing N 10A 51' W.
The sequence further includes segments from point 4 to point 5 (299.60m, bearing N 02A 17' E), from point 5 to point 6 (332.50m, bearing N 17A' 36' E), and from point 6 to point 7 (950.00m, bearing DUE EAST).
The line continues from point 7 to point 8 (1600.40m, bearing DUE SOUTH), from point 8 to point 9 (444.59m, bearing S 89A 51' W), and from point 9 to point 10 (109.45m, bearing N 34A 00' W).
The description proceeds from point 10 to point 11 (308.56m, bearing S 54A 40' W), from point 11 to point 12 (235.65m, bearing N 62A 00' W), and from point 12 to point 13 (61.12m, bearing N 27A 43' W).
The boundary closes at point 1 using distance of 127.54m and bearing N 06A 57' W.

Section 2 revokes, amends, or modifies all executive issuances or portions that are inconsistent with Executive Order No. 754.

Section 3 provides that Executive Order No. 754 takes effect immediately.
