Assignment of Branch Numbers

  • The Supreme Court holds the authority to assign specific branch numbers to each of the newly created RTC branches.

Implementation and Funding

  • The Chief Justice, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, is mandated to include the implementation of this Act in the Supreme Court's program immediately.
  • Funding for the new courts shall be provided through the annual General Appropriations Act (GAA).
  • Funds for operation will only be appropriated and released upon the actual organization of the courts and upon appointment of personnel, ensuring fiscal responsibility.

Amendments to Existing Laws

  • Section 14(c) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980), as amended, is repealed, modified, or further amended as necessary to align with this Act.
  • Any provisions inconsistent with this Act are considered repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity of the Act

  • The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication either in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.
