Covered hot-season office-hours schedule
- During April 1 to June 15, 1964, covered government offices must operate from 7:30 o’clock in the morning to 12:30 o’clock in the afternoon.
- The fixed schedule is required for the Government offices and entities within the Order’s coverage.
- The schedule is structured to align with the hot-season labor reduction mandated by Section 564 as amended by Republic Act No. 1880.
Afternoon staffing requirement for service interest
- The heads of departments, bureaus, offices, agencies, and instrumentalities of the Government covered by the Order are enjoined to act in the interest of the service.
- These heads must require at least one-half of their personnel to be on duty in the afternoon.
- The afternoon duty requirement applies to heads of departments, bureaus, offices, agencies, and instrumentalities of the Government, including provincial and municipal governments and all corporations owned or controlled by the Government.
