- Owners must register their radio equipment with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), through any of its Regional Offices.

Applicable Radio Equipment and Fees
- VHF and UHF Radio Equipment:
- Portable radios: PHP 1,500
- Mobile/Base radios: PHP 2,000
- HF Radio Equipment:
- Low Power (below 50 watts): PHP 2,000
- Medium Power (50-500 watts): PHP 3,000
- High Power (above 500 watts): PHP 5,000
- VHF/UHF Repeaters: PHP 3,000
- WDN Outdoor Equipment:
- Central/Base units: PHP 2,000
- Subscriber/Remote units: PHP 1,500
Accountability and Legal Responsibility
- Registrants are accountable for the radio equipment registered under their name.
- Usage of the registered equipment by persons other than the registrant is prohibited and grounds for sanctions.
Compliance and Penalties
- Registration does not grant authority to possess, construct, or operate radio equipment without appropriate permits/licenses.
- Misuse or unauthorized use of registered equipment may result in administrative sanctions, fines, or penalties as imposed by the NTC.
Commission's Authority and Discretion
- The NTC reserves the right to reject any registration application if deemed necessary in the interest of public welfare.
- Subsequent licensing must comply with existing rules and procedures applicable to the specific radio service.
