Powers, Duties, and Responsibilities During Extended Period

  • The COP and APT retain all powers, duties, and responsibilities originally granted under Proclamation No. 50, dated December 8, 1986, as amended.
  • The primary objective during the extension is to substantially complete the privatization of remaining undisposed corporations and assets.
  • Focus is given to 'big-ticket items' or major assets still under disposal.

Legal Provisions on Separability

  • If any provision or section of the Executive Order is declared unconstitutional or invalid, it does not invalidate the entire Order.
  • Other provisions shall remain effective provided they can be implemented independently.

Repeal and Modification Clause

  • All prior orders, proclamations, rules, regulations, or issuances inconsistent with this Executive Order are either repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity of the Order

  • The Executive Order takes effect immediately upon issuance on August 10, 1992.
