Continued Powers, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • During the extended term, the Committee and Trust shall continue to exercise all powers, duties, and responsibilities as originally granted under Proclamation No. 50 dated December 8, 1986, as amended.
  • The primary objective during this period is to substantially complete the privatization of undisposed government corporations and assets, with emphasis on large or "big-ticket" items.

Separability Clause

  • Should any provision or portion of the Executive Order be declared unconstitutional or invalid, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of other provisions.
  • The remaining portions will remain effective as long as they can be applied in their entirety independently.

Repeal of Inconsistent Issuances

  • All prior orders, proclamations, rules, regulations, or other issuances, or parts thereof, that are inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly.

Immediate Effectivity

  • This Executive Order takes effect immediately upon its issuance on August 10, 1992, in Manila, Philippines.
  • It is signed by President Fidel V. Ramos and Acting Executive Secretary Peter D. Garrucho, Jr.
