Composition of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP)
- The CIAP is composed of the following members:
- Minister of Industry (Chairman)
- Minister of Public Highways
- Minister of Public Works
- Minister of Transportation and Communications
- Chairmen of the agencies under CIAP:
- Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB)
- Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB)
- Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB)
- Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF)
- One representative from the private construction sector appointed by the President
- The Chairman may designate a special construction industry representative in the Middle East who will serve as an ex-officio Board member.
- The Chairman shall also designate a Vice-Chairman from among the members.
Authority and Effectivity
- This reorganization and expansion of the CIAP Board composition is effected through Executive Order No. 679.
- The order takes effect immediately upon signing.
