Composition of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP)

  • The CIAP is composed of the following members:
    • Minister of Industry (Chairman)
    • Minister of Public Highways
    • Minister of Public Works
    • Minister of Transportation and Communications
    • Chairmen of the agencies under CIAP:
      • Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB)
      • Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB)
      • Philippine Domestic Construction Board (PDCB)
      • Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF)
    • One representative from the private construction sector appointed by the President
  • The Chairman may designate a special construction industry representative in the Middle East who will serve as an ex-officio Board member.
  • The Chairman shall also designate a Vice-Chairman from among the members.

Authority and Effectivity

  • This reorganization and expansion of the CIAP Board composition is effected through Executive Order No. 679.
  • The order takes effect immediately upon signing.
