Jurisdiction and Authority
- The expanded South Harbor Port Zone is placed under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).
- The PPA is mandated to implement a program for proper zoning and utilization of the limited port areas within the Port Zone.
- The program must be consistent with existing laws.
Review and Management of Leases and Contracts
- The PPA shall review all existing leases, leasehold rights, and contracts within the expanded South Harbor Port Zone.
- This review must conform to an adopted port policy focused on prioritizing port-related businesses and industries.
- All records and documents related to leases and tenants previously held by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) are transferred to the PPA.
Repeal and Modification of Inconsistent Issuances
- All prior orders, rules, regulations, and issuances or parts thereof that are inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The Executive Order takes effect immediately upon its signing.
