A

Scope

  • Applies to shipments of hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel as specified in Annex A of Executive Order No. 375.
  • Covers all shipments entered through any port in the Philippines.

Additional Rules and Regulations

  • Grants authority to the Commissioner of Customs to issue further rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this tariff rate modification.

Transitory Provisions

  • Shipments of the covered steel products loaded on board before the effective date of the Order are allowed to continue enjoying the previous 3% tariff rate.

Repealing Clause

  • All existing Orders, Memoranda, Circulars, or parts thereof that are inconsistent with this Order are repealed or modified accordingly to conform with this Order.

Separability Clause

  • If any provision or part of the Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Effectivity

  • The Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in a newspaper of general circulation, ensuring public awareness and prompt implementation.
