Funding and appropriation authority
- Section 2 authorizes the appropriation of PHP 100,000 for the school’s establishment, operation, and maintenance during its first year.
- Section 2 authorizes the appropriation of adequate sums for the school’s operation and maintenance yearly thereafter.
- Section 2 directs that appropriations shall come out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
Site selection, locating, and acquisition
- Section 3 empowers the Secretary of Education to locate and acquire a suitable site for the school.
- Section 3 also allows the Secretary of Education to cause the locating and acquisition of a suitable site.
- The suitable site may consist of public or private lands.
- The lands must be situated within the municipality of Boac, Province of Marinduque.
Effectivity of the Act
- Section 4 provides that the Act takes effect upon its approval.
- The Act was Approved, June 21, 1952.
