Scope of covered area
- The authority under Republic Act No. 6627 covers the Municipalities of Cantilan, Lianga, and Hinatuan.
- The geographic coverage is limited to the Province of Surigao del Sur.
Funding and appropriation rules
- Section 2 authorizes the appropriation of two hundred thousand pesos from any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated to carry out the Act’s purpose during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
- After fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy-two, Section 2 requires inclusion in the annual General Appropriations Act of forty thousand pesos to defray expenses for the operation and maintenance of the project.
Effectivity
- Section 3 provides that Republic Act No. 6627 takes effect upon its approval.
