Funding and Appropriations
- Initial funding for the hospital's establishment shall be charged against the appropriations under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent operational and maintenance expenses will be included in future annual General Appropriations Acts.
Pre-construction Assurance Requirements
- Prior to construction, the Secretary of Health must provide written assurance that hospital personnel will be appointed.
- The Secretary must also confirm that funds for maintenance and operation are appropriated.
