Administration and Staffing

The Director of Fisheries shall serve as the ex officio dean of the school without additional salary.
Subject to approval by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Director of Fisheries may detail officers and employees of the Bureau of Fisheries to the school.
The Director of Fisheries is also authorized to hire experts in fishing to provide instruction to the students.

Rulemaking Authority

The Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources shall promulgate necessary rules and regulations for implementing the Act.
Such rules and regulations must not be inconsistent with existing laws.

Appropriation and Funding

An initial appropriation of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is authorized from the National Treasury for the fiscal year 1956.
This allocation is for carrying out the purposes of the Act.
Subsequent funding for the school's operation is to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Effectivity

The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval.
