Purpose and hospital establishment
- Section 1 establishes a municipal hospital in the Municipality of San Andres, Province of Romblon.
- The municipal hospital shall be known as the San Andres Municipal Hospital.
- The hospital is established under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister (Ministry of Health).
- The hospital is established as a municipal hospital with ten-bed capacity and secondary level capability.
Financial basis and appropriation of funds
- Section 2 requires the amount needed for hospital operation to be determined in accordance with Section 40 of Presidential Decree No. 1177.
- Section 2 directs that the determined operating amount be charged to appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Health intended for new hospitals.
- Section 2 requires that after the initial charge to Batas Pambansa Blg. 131, whatever sum is necessary for operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
- Section 2 authorizes the Minister of Health to determine the manner by which the hospital shall be made operational.
