- Initial funds for constructing and establishing the hospital will be charged against the appropriations authorized for this purpose under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent funds necessary for the hospital’s operation and maintenance must be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Pre-Construction Requirements
- Prior to the hospital’s construction, the Secretary of Health is required to provide written assurance that:
- Personnel for the hospital will be appointed.
- Funds for maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
