Appropriations and Funding
- Initial funding will be charged against the appropriations authorized under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent operational and maintenance expenses will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation Authority
- The Secretary of Health or authorized representatives are directed to issue necessary directives to implement the provisions of the Act.
Repeal and Amendment of Inconsistent Laws
- Any existing laws, decrees, or orders inconsistent or contrary to this Act are repealed, modified, or amended accordingly.
Pre-Construction Conditions
- Before hospital construction begins, the Secretary of Health must provide written assurance that hospital personnel will be appointed.
- There must also be a confirmation that funds for maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval by the President of the Philippines.
