Funding and Operation Costs

Initial funding shall be charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 allocated for new hospitals within the Ministry of Health budget.
Subsequent operational and maintenance costs must be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Minister of Health shall have the authority to determine how the hospital shall be made operational.

Effectivity

The Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval on March 18, 1983.
