Appropriations and Funding
- Initial funding for establishing the hospital shall come from the appropriations authorized under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act.
- Subsequent sums necessary for the hospital's operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Pre-construction Requirements
- Prior to construction, the Secretary of Health must provide a written assurance confirming that:
- Personnel for the hospital will be appointed.
- Funds for the hospital's maintenance and operation have been duly appropriated.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act becomes effective immediately upon its approval by the President of the Philippines.
