Funding and Financial Provisions

The operational funding of the hospital shall initially be determined pursuant to Section 40 of Presidential Decree No. 1177.
Initial funding will be charged against the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Health, specifically earmarked for new hospitals.
Subsequent operational and maintenance expenses shall be included annually in the General Appropriations Act.
The Minister of Health has the authority to determine the specific manner in which the hospital will be made operational.

Effectivity

The provisions of this Act shall become effective immediately upon its approval on November 14, 1982.
