  • Advise the Secretary of Labor and Employment on major labor and employment policy matters.

Support and Secretariat Services

  • The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) shall provide the Council with Secretariat and technical support services to facilitate its operations.

Effectivity

  • The Executive Order establishing the Council takes effect immediately upon signing.

  • Issued by the President of the Philippines under the powers vested by law.
  • Signed in Manila on May 30, 1990, and attested by the Executive Secretary.
