Role of the University of the Philippines (UP)

- Entrusts UP with the mobilization and coordination of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), private universities, academic institutions, industry, and government agencies in science and technology efforts.
- UP to supply competent manpower and technical support for the Science and Technology (S&T) Park and Technology Business Incubators (TBIs).
- Envisions the UP S&T Park as a potential model for other technology parks nationwide.
Authorization and Support
- Notes the approval of the UP Board of Regents on September 29, 2006, for the establishment of the National Science Complex in UP Diliman.

Establishment of the National Science Complex and Technology Incubation Park
- Officially creates the National Science Complex and Technology Incubation Park in a 21.9-hectare area at UP Diliman’s southern sector.

Management and Operation

Appropriations and Funding
