- One-stop access to information on poverty eradication projects under NAPC.
- Monitoring the status and implementation progress of poverty eradication programs.
- Provision of learning materials for pre-grade school children in poor communities.
- Basic health information focusing on child survival and primary health care.
- Dissemination of information on the sectoral agenda covering 14 basic sectors.
Authority and Resources for Establishing Centers
- NAPC, through the Office of the President, is empowered to lease, acquire, and purchase equipment.
- Capability to contract services necessary for setting up and maintaining the centers.
- Ensures the centers are effectively coordinated and monitored nationwide.
Management and Operation of the Coordinating Centers
- Supervision by the NAPC via the Office of the President and the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports (DECS).
- Each center is located within a public elementary school at the barangay level.
- The school principal or another designated public school official manages the day-to-day operations.
Funding and Financial Provisions
- Maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) of the centers are to be covered by the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PDTF) earnings.
- The President may allocate additional funds specifically for the infrastructure required to fully operationalize the centers.
Effectivity and Repealing Clause
- The Executive Order takes immediate effect upon signing.
- Any prior issuances, orders, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Order are hereby revised, amended, or revoked to conform with these provisions.
